Rotary Last Week – December 30, 2004

This was a round table meeting in the main dining room at the Thayer. An interesting discussion re: possible fundraisers for the upcoming year. (Fruit, dinner theatre, etc.)

Winter’s Here! – Both the Episcopal & Catholic Church thrift shops will be operating 2nd & 4th Wed. of month. (Have any worm clothing for them?)

Repeat -Phil Brillante’s Quote: - “Interact did great job during football season. Also, Dave Sutton is at war again (the penny war) at the High School. Classes compete raising pennies.”

Christmas In Retrospect -

Dave Weyant’s  “Bell Ringers” showed on December 18 & 19 at Key Food. He will reveal results at the meeting.

Jerry Sheehan’s Pushcart: – Jerry’s pushcart rolled into 2005 still loaded for bear! He still has Ben Birillo’s artistically created Statue of Liberty Scarves as well as shirts, jackets etc. If you forgot someone for
