Today’s Greeter – Farrell Patrick

Today’s Program - TBD

Last Week’s Program

B.G. Robert Caslen, Jr.,70th Commandant of U.S.C.C. “The Global War on Terror; The Long War Brief”. General Caslen  addressed the war on terrorism, giving a global view of “The Marshall Plan; The Truman Doctrine; The Korean War; the Muslims after WWII and leading up to Hezbola; Al Quaida, and the present conflict in Iraq & Afghanistan. This was a well-delivered program, which was very informative, interesting, and mind searching. (Incidentally, Gen. Caslen is a former member of this Rotary Club!)

Phil Brillante - Phil said he won’t ‘slip up’ on his safety warning,  and again reminded us of “Black Ice.” –  Need I say anything further?

Just Watch It.  Phil also asked for your 2 cents!  Yes, Interact is engaged in “The Penny Wars again, and Phil is looking for loose change to use as ammunition in winning them. Any help would be appreciated! Lastly, snow is being pumped on the ski slope.

Update on What’s Doing ‘round Rotary Well, lots!

Also, thanks to Kent & Dave, great articles have appeared in the News. Good work!

Elections will be coming up shortly.

President Jerry Sheehan is still doggedly pursuing the program to collect funds for the families of troops killed in Iraq. This is a great and noble cause, and Jerry is to be complimented for his efforts in this.

The Holy Innocents food pantry, 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month.

Prez Jerry’s Pushcart - Jerry says:

“Need a new jacket, or perhaps a new shoit?

Wear my special & watch them all floit!    (A bad rhyme perhaps, but it won’t hoit!)
