Program
Medal of Honor Recipient, Ret. COL Jack Jacobs and author of
his book “The Medal Of Honor”, was the guest speaker at the meeting. Introduced
by Ret. Air Force General Perry Smith, COL Jacobs described some of his wartime
experiences outlined in the book. He also autographed copies of his book, which
were for sale at the meeting. A number of his classmates from
Phil Brillante – Phil discussed trips – no, not vacations, etc. but falls in your home! Make sure you have proper lighting on stairwells, etc. Use proper wattage to prevent falls!
Theatre Party: Remember, it’s Thoroughly Modern Millie” on Sunday, May 7th 2006 in Eisenhower Hall”. Harold Spaeth needs a count. He has to order more tickets! (Tell your friends!)

Other Clubs’ Activities
Rotary Club of Fishkill - The Fishkill Club’s 5th Annual Softball Tournament will be held on May 7th. At Robert Shepheard Memorial Park in Fishkill. All proceeds go to “Operation Smile”. This consists of Craniofacial surgeons, Orthodontists, etc. who provide free, surgery to correct facial deformities for children in developing countries. For further info call: 845-896-4803.) Mark Klein, Softball Chairman.
