“When God thought of mother, He must have laughed with satisfaction, and framed it quickly—so rich, so deep, so divine, so full of soul, power, and beauty, was the conception”.

Henry Ward Beecher

Rotary Last Week

Guest speaker Tony Brown of the Directorate of Community Activities gave an excellent presentation on the happenings at West Point, such as the streamlined budget; the youth center restoration, and a breakdown on NAF business rules. (Non-appropriated funds) He distributed literature on scheduled tours to New York City happenings, such as museums, etc. during June & July. (The photo on the DCFA handbook should win a prize. Gus Fishburne and his wife deserve kudos for having such a good looking daughter, son in law, and grandkids)

District Assembly meeting is scheduled for May 8th,  from 8a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Best Western Motel in Poughkeepsie. Roy Spells & incoming officers will attend.

Installation Dinner -  The installation dinner for the upcoming officers will be held on possibly the 9th or 10th of June.  (To be announced.)
