Rotary Last Week – May 5th

Captain William (Bill) Stroppel of the Town of Highlands Ambulance Corps gave a most informative talk on the functions of the Corps. A long time member, Bill described

such items as defibulators, E.M.Ts on Ambulances, Senior calling systems, etc, He also described the grants given, (including Rotary) who keep this running smoothly. This

was a worthwhile and timely program!

Steve Scott again says : It’s not too late to bring in your old cell phones & attachments. Also any interchangeable parts for them. 

Phil Brillante  also cautioned all on safety at home & on the road, emphasising

Proper vehicle lights, etc. Also have safety glasses, earplugs,  & insect repellant handy!

Hudson Valley Spec. Olympics – Thanks to all from many happy athletes! A great day!

Group Study –  May 23 –Rotarian Exchange Students will be arriving from England.

District 7210 48th Ann. Conference – May 13-15 at Villa Roma Resort. Centennial B’day.

The Holy Innocents Church thrift shop will be operating every Thurs. 10 am to 1 pm. The Holy Innocents food pantry, 2nd & 4th Wednesday’s of month.

(Products or cash, but cash goes further. Make checks payable to “Holy Innocents.”)

Sacred Heart Thrift Shop open 10am – 2pm; (4:30 Thursdays.)
