This was a business meeting. The first order of business was
the swearing in as an Honorary Member, our long term waitress “Marge”, who has
been an asset to the club from the start. She is more than just an employee,
and goes the distance to assure that we have great meetings! Welcome aboard!
Other business included a letter submitted by Sacred Heart of Jesus School in
Phil Brillante’s Weekly Safety Message:
“Put your gloves on!” Safety gloves, that is. He demonstrated a glove that is safe, flexible, impervious to cold and doesn’t “cut’ when working. A great safety tip!
The Holy Innocents food pantry, 2nd & 4th Wednesday of month.
Sacred Heart Thrift Shop open 10am – 2pm; (4:30 Thursdays)
Rev. Judy Ferguson also announced an upcoming concert series; plays, Musicals, etc. highlighting the Church’s stained glass windows. (More on this at today’s meeting.)
Jerry Sheehan’s Pushcart - Jerry says:
“Sales are up and business is fine,
That’s why I’m up here on cloud nine!”
