Garrison Cmdr. Col. Brian Crawford gave an informative presentation on the state of housing on military installations, including residential dwellings for military families. A slide presentation, with details such as history of housing, management, costs, & control, etc., reinforced a very interesting portion of the operations on an army base. Should housing be privatized? renovations be made?, and a 50 year plan were the subjects of discussion. (A well rounded & informative program!!!)
Phil Brillante’s weekly safety tip homed in the use of barbecue grills, etc, now that the season is upon us. He emphasized caution when using lighting fluids. Use only as directed and have safety equipment handy! Also, use sanitary guidelines when handling raw foods, etc. Cover food containers!
