Rotary Last Week, September 15th

Due to a change in the programming schedule this was a business meeting, during which many items were discussed; from Diana Cole’s Katrina relief efforts to the hosting of the exchange students at the Central Michigan game on Oct. 8th.  Various other items, such as the District’s search for four qualified persons to visit Bulgaria & Greece in 2006, and the Newburgh Club’s request for Rotarians to pose for a calendar shoot. (There were no volunteers.) There were many guests & visitors rounding out an interesting meeting.

Phil Brillante’s News:Phil Says: Dress appropriately to cope with various emergency conditions & situations.

Steve Scott reminded all to maintain cell phones in working order, especially with bad weather on the horizon.  (Good tips, fellas!)

Newsie News:  Remember!

Tom Enders: “We’ll host the Exchange Students from England at the Central Michigan game on Saturday, October 8th.

Newsie Note: Sorrryyy, but it looks like the “Will Rogers Follies” is the selection for the dinner-theatre show on January 8, 2006. It was erroneously reported last week that “Thoroughly

Modern Millie” was the pick.
