Rotary Last Week

The speaker Ms. Kathy Webber the Director of Orange County Hospice, Vice President Elect of Mamkating Rotary Club, and one of the sponsors for the Orange County 10 K Classic Race.

Ms. Webber  provided information about the services and care of the county hospice program.  She also shared information and architectural plans for a new hospice facility planned for Newburgh, NY.

Volunteers are needed -Orange County Special Olympics, Saturday, 10 May 2003, assist in serving lunch to participants.

May is Membership Build-Up month for the West Point-Highland Falls Rotary Club.

 

    On Saturday, May 17, 2003, the West Point-Highland Falls Rotary Club will have an enjoyable evening fund-raiser dinner theater party featuring the hilarious Faith Prince dinner at 5:00 pm show at 8:00 pm, Eisenhower Hall.  Make your reservation now, $75.00 per person.      Many thanks to BJ Bailey, Chairperson for Spring Clean-up 2003.  In addition the Clubs sends it special thanks to Company G1, a community job “WELL DONE”.

 

     The Blooming Grove/Washingtonville Rotary Club will hold their 2nd annual Gold Outing at the Stony Ford Golf Course, Monday June 30, 2003.  The format will be Four Man (Person) Scramble at 9:00 AM is the Shotgun time.  They plan a very enjoyable event to many prizes, continental breakfast, raffles, refreshments, and dinner at the Golf Course Pavilion.  Contact Pete (845) 497-7717 or Tom (845) 496-1452 the cost is $100.00 for a full day of golfing fund and events.

Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) will have their conference at Vassar College, Monday, 23 June through Friday, 27 June 2003.  The deadline for applications is May 16, 2003, for high school students finishing their sophomore year. Effective Wednesday, April 2, 2003 Washingtonville/Blooming Grove Rotary Club will meet at the Riverside Grill Restaurant in Washingtonville.

Please make note - it is local Rotary Club where you can make up a Rotary Club meeting in the evening.
